The Chilterns is an area that stretches from Luton in the East to Caversham near Reading in the West and includes High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Amersham, Chesham, Great Missenden, Prestwood, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Henley, Marlow, Hambleden, Henley and Caversham.

The Chilterns is also the setting for many film and TV productions including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the popular Midsomer Murders series. Pinewood Studios are located on the southern edge of the Chilterns where the James Bond and Carry On comedy films were made.
